The giant red lips on flesh-coloured tank-top was bad sufficient but Leona Lewis did not stop there. The popstar followed her mid-week fashion tragedy with a huge homemade yellow net bow and blue pencil skirt combo yesterday.
Once an icon of complexity, she has torn up the rule book this week in a bid to follow unconventional stars such as Lady Gaga. At a Black Women in Music event yesterday, the 25-year-old turned heads for all the wrong reasons in her midriff-revealing ensemble and, worryingly, plans to wear one more of her own creations to Sunday’s Grammy Awards in LA – where a lot of people will be watching.
Her cute curly locks and slight make-up have also gone, replaced by heavy eyeliner and day-glo lipstick, prompting speculation she has gone under the knife which is dismissed as “utter nonsense” by her team.
