Leona 'Lewis's new album available for download from November this year was due, but the singer has pushed back its release date to 2012.

Leona said on her official Facebook, "Just wanted to update everyone on the album!"

"I'm feeling so inspired right now and have decided to continue recording!

"I have a collection of songs that I'm so in love with and I no there's more to be born so it means the album will come early next year."

The 'Collide' singer worked alongside Ryan Tedder - the OneRepublic singer and title track for his new album's biggest hit "Love the blood, and it was encouraging to be responsible for songwriter.

She told Digitalspy.co.uk: "'Glassheart' we wrote, I remember, when I was a little bit down. I went to Denver to hang out with Ryan - to see him and his family - and see if we could come up with something nice.

"I remember just not wanting to sing a ballad or anything that would make me more sad.

"I was like, 'Can you give me a song where I can just dance and jump around?', and he was like, 'What about this?' - he played this beat and it was really hypnotic. So I was like, 'Yes! We have to do this'."

Leona says that his third album up with a style "eclectic mix" is being called out for 'trouble' in the "Hop Tour" beat the track.

She added: "I think 'Trouble' will be the second single. I can't wait for everyone to hear it. I'm really excited about it. It's one that I really love.

"It's got an element of Massive Attack in it. A bit of trip-hop, a bit of flavour - I've just never heard anything like it, which is why I was like, 'This is very cool'."
